The accommodation so comfortable, the surroundings quiet, rural and at night the stars are spectacular. We've just come back from Heathergate and we stayed in one of the luxury lodges. The ones with a sauna, hot tub and steam room. First impressions were great. Everything is modern, clean and well presented. The hot tub was better than I expected and had full controls, unlike some we've had in the past where you cannot change a thing. Overall we had a lovely stay and certainly for the price we paid then we're more than happy. The main niggle I had was the water pressure of the showers weren't great. Meaning showering was a bit of a mission. And certainly a quick win would be to have non-stick pans that didn't stick. Every time I tried to fry something it would just stick itself firmly to the pan. But like I say, in context both are minor niggles that I'm happy to forgive given what we paid and it is in peak summer holiday period. The location of the park is great. Just outside of the town and it's very peaceful. The view we had was lovely to wake up to.
