Directions

From Newcastle (North/South East)

  • From the A1 North / South take the roundabout for A69 Hexham/Carlisle.
  • Straight over the first roundabout at Corbridge following signs for Hexham/Carlisle.
  • At the next roundabout take a left into Hexham Town Centre. Take a left after the second roundabout and follow the road all the way around.
  • Turn right in Hexham Centre. Follow road through Town and take a left at the Fox Pub towards Allendale & Blanchland on the B6305.
  • Follow the road to the top. As you enter Lowgate, take the next right and immediately right again between two houses.
  • Heathergate Country Park will be straight ahead!

From Carlisle (North/South West)

  • From the M6 North / South take the roundabout for A69 Hexham/Newcastle.
  • Stay on A69 for about 30 miles.
  • Once you have passed the second sign for Haydon Bridge take the next right about 1/2 mile.
  • Stay on this road, about 50 yards before you join the main road at the end take an immediate left between two houses.
  • Heathergate Country Park will be straight ahead!
