7 Reasons To Buy One Of  Our Luxury Homes This 2023 Season…

The decision to buy one of our luxury homes is an exciting one, but it can be daunting and there are many factors to consider.

This blog are our seven reasons why we believe buying your own luxury home this season would be a great investment!

Family Time

Buying one of our luxury homes gives you an ideal hub for the family to get together and spend quality time all in one place.

Whether you’re a large family, have extended family members and friends to celebrate with – your new luxury home is the ideal place to make memories and enjoy magical experiences together.

Our 2 and 3 bedroomed properties, available with flexible kitchen/diner spaces and lounge areas enables you to get everyone around the table! Although you’ll love spending time inside your holiday home, our holiday homes are set in complete tranquillity enabling you to enjoy your outdoor space or terrace.

Flexibility and Freedom

Travelling in the last few years has proved challenging and restrictions are still ever changing. Owning your luxury holiday enables you to make organised plans in advance – you can be impulsive and travel at a few hours’ notice, staying as long or as little as you choose and knowing that everything you need and enjoy is there when you arrive.

When you reach you holiday home, the only thing that can really change your plans is the weather but let’s be honest, in the UK we all know how to have fun in the rain! …and those traffic delays? We’re experts at I-Spy on longer car journeys to make them pass more quickly.

Saving Money

With recent travel changes, we’ve seen rises in flight prices, a reduction in airlines in operation and additional rules and regulations being introduced – this has made for constant challenges.

Owning your holiday home means that on the whole, you know what your holidays will cost year on year – with fixed site fees and maintenance/service costs and a guide to what your travel and fuel expenses will be. You’ll know what your holiday itinerary will be and can gauge costs for visits to attractions and entertainment.

The rest is about how much fun you can fit in! You get to enjoy the local area at your chosen site which you’ve become accustom to over your visits – you’ll be on first name terms with your local diner as well as know the perfect spot on the local beach or park.

Budget wise we have a huge selection of varied holiday homes from 2 to 3 bedrooms and a varied range of designs with spaces that can be configured to your individual needs and accessibility requirements.

Designing Your Space, Your Way

When you are choosing the perfect holiday home for you, you can be specific about your requirements. If you have accessibility needs or want to cater for those with less mobility for use with wheelchairs and lifts – we are on-hand to ensure your needs are met and will help with the process of designing your new home.

Inside your holiday home you can specify wider internal or external doors, you can create large, spacious wet room areas or it may be something as simple as wanting to design in a certain configuration. Externally your space can be individualised with bespoke decking, all-weather skirting, well laid-out terrace areas and a garden space to design and nurture.

The way the space is laid out can be shaped to fit with the way you spend your time, from big dining tables for family lunches and terraces for summer socials, or quiet readings spaces and cosy lounges for all year round visits.

Managing Simple Maintenance

When buying your luxury holiday home, the costs can be very manageable and usually stay at reasonable levels year on year. Those costs include site fees, gas, insurance, electricity, general upkeep and maintenance and can be easily forecasted.

You are required to have insurance for your holiday home and the amount will depend on the park location, the size and value of the holiday home as well as the contents. Public liability should be included with your policy.

New Adventures

Buying your luxury holiday home enables you to choose a site that’s best suited to your needs. Each of our sites offer different adventures, whether it’s accessibility for walks in nature, run/cycle paths, close to local attractions, great foodie spots, market towns or shops.

You may want to be close to a specific city or country park, perhaps you’re more interested in the on-site facilities such as a cafés and restaurants, swimming pool or spa facilities that are available – we guarantee any one of our parks will suit your requirements!

Often local attractions offer exclusive discounts to park owners due to their regular visits across all seasons which is an added bonus to saving money!

The Affordable Dream

When you’re buying your luxury home, there are a range of finance options available so that payments can be spread over time, taking the pressure off you.

As an added bonus, there is the option to generate income by renting out your holiday home once you’ve purchased it. Individual sites have their own regulations around this so do be sure to check those.

When buying your luxury holiday home, check whether or not the site you have chosen insists on having first refusal on your holiday home when selling it, or whether they are entitled to a percentage of the sale price. This can mean that there is a limit on the resale price that you can get back for it and can impact on your final figure. The age of your holiday home can also affect its sale price so do check their resale policy.

Finally, our best advice.
