The Angel Inn

This warm and welcoming pub is now open for outdoor drinks and dining with a beer garden that is bigger and better than ever. This much-loved pub has several relaxing lounge spaces including a dog friendly area to enjoy. From 30^th July-8^th August the Angel will be involved in The Great British Beer Festival with events and offers running all week long.

The Duke of Wellington

The winner of numerous culinary awards, this welcoming village pub and hotel serves a wide choice of seasonal dishes with gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options available. It has 7 luxury bedrooms available with each one named after Northumbrian rivers. Bouchon Bistrot

Zyka’s

Zyka is the North East’s first fine dining establishment under the control of celebrated Chef Khaled Miah, opened with brothers, Rashid and Mashuk. Miah was formerly Head Chef at long-established Newcastle favourite, Vujon, where he won the title of Newcastle’s Curry Chef of the Year.

The word ‘Zyka’ in hindu means ‘sophisticated taste,’ and this is certainly evident in the level of service provided by staff. The modern boutique restaurant offers a stylish but intimate ambience and their mouth-watering menu is also available for take away.
