What’s On in the Local Area this November

We’ve given a web link in most cases. Please check before you go. As with all exploring, some of our ‘What’s on’ suggestions will be brilliant, some will give you completely new experiences, and others may be a disappointment. I’m putting this list together based on what I think looks interesting.

Wednesday 13 November to Wednesday 8 January
Dusk on a cold winter evening is a magical time for wildlife watching. Join us for a guided walk to take in the sights and sounds as the light changes and darkness takes over the reserve.
If we’re lucky, we may spot owls, deer and birds flocking together to form roosts. And there is also a chance that we may see a starling murmuration over the reedbed.
This walk is suitable for everyone and is great for those who would like some company wildlife watching and walking on the reserve in the dark. The walk will last about two hours on good footpaths, sturdy footwear is recommended
