What’s On Near Nostell Priory this February
Nostell Priory, West Yorkshire
Welcome to What’s on in our area in February. We have some fine offers from our usual sources of entertainment. The link provided will take you to our suggestion, but it will be one of many events at the venue so have a look at their programme for even more. I’ve trawled the internet for new venues and interesting events. Give then a try. We live in a brilliant location with so much going on for all tastes. Have fun!
I’ve given a web link in most cases. Please check before you go. As with all exploring, some of our ‘What’s on’ suggestions will be brilliant, some will give you completely new experiences, and others may be a disappointment. I’m putting this list together based on what I think looks interesting.

Wakefield Rhubarb Festival
Wakefield Rhubarb Festival. 17th – 23rd Feb. It’s time to paint the town pink for the Rhubarb Festival! http://bit.ly/2vo1qO9
If you don’t know what the Rhubarb Festival is, then where have have you been? It’s Wakefield’s love-letter to the divisive vegetable, the first date in the Merry City’s festival calendar, and it starts the year off with a bang.
In 2020 it’s a festival of Miracle-Gro proportions, running for a whole week from Monday 17 February until Sunday 23 February (the traditional food and drink market runs 21-23 February), and truly taking over the city centre.
Like an enormous rhubarb crumble, Rhubarb Festival 2020 has plenty to get your teeth into. So get your pink on, and get set to eat, drink… and be merry.
