Can I live in my static caravan all year round?
Holiday homes are designed to live in for short and long periods of time, but they should not be your primary dwelling or main address, this will be clearly laid out in your purchasing agreement. You are likely to be asked for a ‘proof of main residency’ when you buy your caravan.
However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t spend a large part of the year living in your very own ‘home from home.’  Every park differs on its restrictions around length of stay, but Heathergate has an 11 month holiday license. We fully welcome you to stay in your holiday home for as long as you like during those 11 glorious months of the year, making the most of regular trips and long leisurely stays.
Live in my static caravan all year round: What You Can Do
If you are staying for a long period of time or using your static caravan as the perfect base for remote working or getting some peace and quiet, do ensure that you get to know the local area. Try to find out where to get vital supplies such as food shopping and DIY and hardware as well as important medicines you may need during long stays. Also make yourself familiar with where the local doctors, hospital, vet and dentist are all located should you need them. We can, of course help you with that, contact us today for more information.
Getting to know the local area and finding out what’s going on throughout the year and getting to know some familiar faces with good local knowledge can be a really enjoyable experience as well as an opportunity to make new friends.
