Flamingo Land: Flamingo Land is a theme park, zoo, and resort located in Malton, justa few miles from Spring Willows. Flamingo Land Resort was established in 1959 when a cinema entrepreneur, Edwin Pentland Hick, sold his cinema chain and used the funds to purchase a bankrupt country club to use the land for a zoo.
Sea Life Centre: is a great children’s day out in Scarborough with lots of activities including: Interactive Rockpool, Creature Talks & the now famous Ocean Tunnel Walk Through.
Stephen Joseph Theatre: Stephen Joseph Theatre (SJT) is a regional producing theatre with a rich and fascinating heritage. It was established in 1955 by theatrical pioneer Stephen Joseph, who created the country’s first theatre-in-the-round company in Scarborough on the first floor of the public library. SJT now reaches over 110,000 people all year round with many attending during the world famous summer season of world premieres, produced and made in Scarborough.
